After 6 years of silence, the Technics brand returns with two new home hi-fi systems. The R1 and C700. Both audiophile-quality systems feature stereo amps, a network audio streamer, speakers, and use Technics Definitive Sound technologies to create dynamic sound quality. Still waiting on pricing, but don't expect the word budget to be used near these.
